The Brooklyn Grand

Dubbing it “a modern vision of old Brooklyn,” Meshberg Group and Grand Street Development masterfully execute a new addition to the Williamsburg skyline.

From the exposed joists, to the arched windows to the slightly worn brick facade, the designer considered every detail to contextualize this new-construction multifamily building. The result is an award-winning structure that brings contemporary living and amenities to its residents, while paying tribute to the turn of the century Brooklyn warehouses.

Although developed by a different entity, the architect’s prior work at 291 Metropolitan Avenue (last image) exhibits a similar aesthetic.
