Framed New York City Print of The Oculus
A Bogdan Trach Studio original fine art print entitled “Feathers”.
To many passerby the renowned WTC transit hub (The Oculus) may seem as a depiction of some sort of vertebrate alien creature. On the contrary, its architect referred to it as “a dove in flight,” hoping to bring both sentimental and contextual significance to such an emotionally charged site.
My goal with this piece was to isolate and focus solely on this metaphor, separate from the landmark as a whole.

Description
Only 18 prints are produced in each of the four sizes. Each work is hand-signed, numbered and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
Each piece starts as a wide-gamut high-resolution image, offering crisp details and superb color reproduction. Printed on heavyweight alpha-cellulose paper using archival pigment ink. All prints carry a lifetime warranty (100+ years) against fading when kept out of direct sunlight. Every piece is meticulously inspected for top-tier quality before being carefully packaged and shipped.
Frames are made-to-order from high quality aluminium with a durable, corrosion-resistant finish in gloss white, satin black or satin gold. The artwork rests behind an acid-neutral white matting, enclosed between a sheet of ACRYLITE® Clear Acrylic and acid-free foamcore backing.
